I never knew this type of pipe even existed. It is labeled schedule 40 and probably needs a shielded or unshielded Fernco coupler to join to ABS.
I'll put a camera and light in the crawlspace to monitor what the biggest toilet paper offenders are doing in my home. The last incident resulted in a ball of paper as big as the diameter of the 4" pipe being clogged when the 3" pipe joined the 4" pipe. A normal person would think that is impossible, but it happened in a brand new line. As a DIY-er, I'll invest in a hydrojet device for maximum protection and preventive maintenance against habitual cloggers in the family. What's the least expensive commercial pipe camera a homeowner can buy?
