Hello,

I'm working on a pet project for myself.
Installing a shower in my homemade RV, Here is the topic.

The shower and drain is meant to be solvent welded to 2in PVC drain.
The spot where I need to place it I would be greatly benefited if i could use smaller PVC than 2".
so my thought was i would adapt the 2" to 1" so i can Clear a wheel well then go directly into a gray water tank a few feet away.

So here are some numbers, my water pump puts out a max of 3gpm at 55psi.
Looking at gravity flow rate of 1" pipe I should get between 16gpm and 21gpm.

I don't see any issue using 1" pipe here.

Also should I add a trap for the smells etc?

You will likely be fine with the 1" If you can leave access incase you need to unclog it that would benefit you. And yes try and do some sort of trap on there. My 5th wheel has my shower trap closer to the gray water tank but if you could do it by the tub it would be better.

Ill give it a wack.
good idea with the clean out, never think you need it till 3am on a work night.

Thanks bro
