Hello,

I had to change a leaky kitchen hot water supply valve. Now I barely have any hot water pressure. The cold water pressure is fine so it’s not the aerator. Any suggestion on why this is happening?

If you used flex lines between the valve and the faucet. I would disconnect at the supply valve, and turn the valve on for a second to blow out any debris. If that doesn't solve it, reconnect that and disconnect where the flex line meets the faucet, and again, turn on the supply valve for a second to blow out any debris. If that doesn't solve it, you will have to remove the cartridge and again turn the valve on to blow out any debris. With a Moen faucet, that is easy to do. I only use Moens, so I can't speak to how easy or hard it is with other brands.
