Plumbing bathtub

Ok I'm probably going to be bugging ya'll throughout this entire whole house plumbing project...so another question. As much as I read the UPC it seems I can never find the info I am looking for! Question; what is the maximum distance I can run the bathtub drain before venting? It seems like I read something about this but darned if I can find it again. Thanks. Jim

1 1/2 trap is 6 feet

Thanks and since I'm obsessed I used 2" traps throughout

2" trap....8 feet....just remember not to offset the trap arm more than 135 degrees

that is ipc...the op said he is using upc. it is 5' maximum for a 2'' arm
