I'm replacing all of my old piping in my cabin with Pex tubing. This is a seasonal (Summer only) cabin so I was thinking of running the tubing underneath the cabin instead of in the walls/ceiling. I have about 3-31/2 feet under the building so access would not be too difficult. The supply comes into the bathroom thru the floor and will be run in the home run method with manifolds. It easier drilling thru the floor than thru all of the ceiling joists.Any drawbacks to running pex under the building?

Have you considered how you are going to get all of the water out to winterize it? Might be easier with the lines overhead and dropping down.

I'm installing a quick connect so I can purge with air.
