Opinions about HD Homewerks stainless braided supply lines

Any opinions about the quality of these? Last week the braided supply, provenance unknown, on the cold water for the kitchen sink just blew out with a loud pop. Fortunately, I was home, heard the pop and water running, so managed to shut the valve before there was too much mess.
Local plumbing supply does not sell retail and HD is convenient. I plan to change out all the flexible supply lines but I don't want to replace them with lines of dubious quality.

The only ones I would trust are made by BrassCraft (USA). Even the supposedly fail safes are imported and fail.

Now you get into the problem of the rubber tubing within the hoses breaking down with chlorine/chloramines.

If you can't get a good quality braided line at HD, you could always get the 3/8" poly lines. A few minutes more work to put in but they are flexible and reliable.
