I’m a home owner with some basic DIY skills but by no means a professional. I will do the simpler tasks around the house but I generally call in a professional when I want to make sure the job is done right or when I rather pay someone to do a job. I have worked on my own house renovation. Plumbing wise, I have installed sink faucet sets and drains, installed dish washers, garbage disposers, replaced toilets, and relocated/installed hot water heaters along with copper pipe soldering. But that was in my younger days. Now I’m a little older and have a career, I typically will call in a professional for the bigger jobs. However, I will still do small home repairs when it makes sense. I look forward to sharing with the forum members.

People here are amazingly generous with their time and advice!
So many people have been helped so many times.
You're going to learn a lot and become very skilled by asking and reading on this site. (I've sure learned quite a bit from the people here.)
