Hi everyone. My shower has a slow-drip when turned off so I tried to repair it this weekend. There aren't markings on the shower so I don't know what brand it is, but its similar to this:

I tried to dismantle the shower knob (to get to the cartridge) but was unable to completely disassemble the knob. The following link is a picture of what I see:

I can't tell if a metal ring (within the knob) is holding the knob onto the main component or if a cement has been used. Basically I can't get this knob off; turning it to the left starts the shower and I can't turn it to the right. Any help is appreciated.
