Need Help Identifying Shower Hose Connection

Hi,

Our shower hose is leaking but I am having difficulty identifying the hose connection.
It is definitely not a standard connection. I have included an image below.

That’s a standard handheld hose for Kohler I believe. But the threads are broken off. Have you been able to remove broken threads that are / were in the female side?

That appears to be a proprietary connection, and it appears that someone has smeared pipe thread sealant on it (the gray stuff). The O-ring does the sealing, not the threads of the connector. Clean that off and apply some plumbers grease (or pure silicone paste) on the O-ring and see if that stops the leak. If not, you would have to find the manufacturer to get a replacement.
