Hello. Looking to see what the best option would be for moving a kitchen sink location. Please see attached images. The sink will be moving approximately 36" to the right (image 1 dashed line is new location). The original drain went directly into location 1 (3"). 1 continues up to be venting. Location 2 (3") is drain from upstairs fixtures (bar sink, dishwasher, ice maker (bar area vented with AAV), 2 vanities, toilet, shower, tub, laundry). Location 3 (2") ties into the venting of 1, and 4 (2") is a vanity drain (vented into 3). There is also location 5 (2"), which supports dual sinks for vanity and has a single AAV vent. This is a mid-rise building with 2 units below. This unit is top floor and has 2 levels.

Options:
  1. Keep existing sanitary tee location and extend trap arm ~36" behind stack 2 to to new location (image 2). Would potentially use two 45s to wrap around stack 2 or a 45 and a 90. Any issues with this option?
  2. Remove sanitary tee from location 1. Add sanitary tee to location 2 and extend trap arm ~20" to the right and add venting through location 1 (or 3?) (image 3)
  3. Remove sanitary tee from location 1. Add sanitary tee to location 3 with smallest trap arm, and is already vented to 1 (image 4)
Not sure how options 2 and 3 may impact units below, if any. Also, would it be preferred to remove the AAV from location 5 and vent directly into 1? This could pair with option 2 for venting (image 5).

Appreciate any thoughts on this.

No info on line 3?
Yes, for sure get rid of AAV at 5.
If you option 1, and jog, just remember that the arm AND p-trap should be 2".

Thanks. What info are you not seeing on line 3? I can provide any additional details.

I believe 1.5” fits but 2” may be an issue for option 1

Looking further, option 3 (image 4) is likely not feasible because that is a vent from below (dry in this unit).
