Hello all,

I recently had a company come out and replace my old water heater under my home warranty. As soon as the new water heater was installed I lost a significant amount of pressure in my master shower ONLY when the hot water is on (if I only turn on the cold then the pressure is perfect). I'm guessing that sediment or something got into the line and made its way to the master shower where it is partially blocking the hot water flow. Does this seem like a likely diagnosis? Also, how do I fix the problem? I called the company back who installed my hot water heater and they decided to replace the cartridge for the shower, which made no difference at all. Now they are stumped and just want to start tearing into the walls to replace the mixing valve, but I'm worried that wont fix the issue and then I'll be stuck with wall and tile repair in my shower for nothing. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Corey
