Kohler k169 fauce sprayer pressure

The kitchen sink in the house that I bought recently is equipped with a Kohler K169 faucet with separate side sprayer. The sprayer has very little pressure. Very little pressure when the sprayer is unattached. Normally, that tells me it is a hung up diverter, but this is an odd creature. Not finding this fancy thing to be as easy to work on as others. Help

Does it have a check valve or anti-siphon device in the sprayer? Could that be stuck?

Its not the sprayer. I took it off, and the pressure out of the hose is low. The problem is between the sprayer hose and supply. I suspect it is the equivalent of a diverter in a standard faucet, but this thing is build differently. My hope is that somebody on here has worked with this particular faucet and can give me some advice
