Is this a dry well or a septic tank

Drain is backing up in basement. And been trying to find the septic tank , but pretty lost did I find it or is that the dry well county record is from 1976 and is like chicken scratch but attached

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Crack it open and take a look inside. It looks like the dry well is round.

It looks like a septic tank to me, dry wells are generally round and the sketch seems to indicate same...
 
outside your house there should be a cleanout anywhere from 1 to 5 feet away, once you find that your septic should be inline to that anywhere from 5 to 20 feet away depending on codes or age ( mine is 36 years old and its 50 feet away ) use a probing rod to trace pipe if you dont see any humps or risers once you hit the tank you will feel/hear the different sound from the pipe and concrete. There are youtube videos on locating the tanks.
