Internally Cutting pvc

I need to cut a pvc 2” pipe internally. I picked up the Home Depot 1 1/4” internal drill cutter but I’ve been getting a sloppy cut.

How can I set a depth gauge and cut it straight all around?

Is there a better tool for the job? A 2” cutter could probably do a better job im guessing. Willing to spend the money.

Any tips on how to get this right the first time?
