Interchanging PEX Piping

Hey all, first time here......

I am adding a water softener and water filtration system to my home and the current PEX product that is run throughout consists of JM Eagle Everpex Pipe with Viega fittings..... My question is, can I just switch to PEX A or PEX B fittings to tie into the current PEX system? I think I remember hearing that most PEX are interchangeable when it comes to different fittings and clamps, am I wrong about this? Or do I need to get conversion fittings from Viega to PEX A or B?

You can use PEX crimp fittings on all the types of PEX pipe.
