Turn the main water off and cut the copper as close to the elbows as you can. Put a couple 5/8 x 3/8 chrome angle stops
and get the 1/4 turn. Then buy yourself two 3/8 x20" braided lavatory supply lines. You'll be in business

That's pex if your handy enough you could probably work with pex if you can't loosen the faucet connections they could have used female adapters, you would have to cut the pex, install a couple of ball valvesthen install faucet connections that will thread on and off ,there are many videos that you could watch to see how it's done

got it !

Good job, when I first looked at your picture I thought that was copper coming out of the wall. Looks
like quest is this a mobile home??

Looks like polybutylene pipe to me.
Correct! Which is illegal to install now.

That ain't copper stub-outs.

You can't even get flood insurance now with the polybutylene water piping any more. If you are not going to repipe the entire home....you need to get a crimper to crimp adaptors (don't forget the crimp ring) to it. When I come across polybutylene piping I always sell a repipe job to replace the old piping. You can replace this piping depending on your local plumbing code with the following: Copper, CPVC or Pex.
