My current single handle bath faucet makes all sort of water rushing sound, and the noise is affected by cold/hot water ratio and the amount of water coming through, but not necessarily quieter at lower flow.

This faucet noise is propagated throughout the house by the pipes. At night I'm afraid to use the faucet because it disturbs other people in the house.

How can I find a quiet faucet to replace it with? There is no noise ratings for faucets. I have seen quiet faucets in restaurants/hotels. I remember some of them have glass and the water flows out of an open area, like this:

I don't need the looks. I just want to find a no-thrill quiet faucet. Any idea how?

You would do better with damn near anything but a Price Pfister single lever faucet. They just can't get it right in the bathroom or kitchen.

Get a Plumber to install a Delta or Moen pressure balanced faucet. In my opinion, Delta cannot be beat for overall value.

Good Luck.

I have never seen a balance pressure lav faucet but Delta or Moen would be a good choice.

I think grohe or kwc has a pressure balanced faucet for that application. Cant think of a moen or delta at this moment in time

I second the Delta or Moen. Delta is what you want for good customer service for repair parts.
