how to extend a mixing valve throug 8 "brick wall

built walk in shower in existing home my problem is that i have a 8 inch brick wall plus cement board to deal with when installing shower components.

how would I install my mixing valve then run a lead aboe without breaking out the blocks as it's a supporting wall.

are there extensions available that would extend the control through the wall??

Best choice is to add a 3-1/2" furred out wall for the piping and valve, if you have space.
