I have this 'mystery' coming from the both toilets of our apartment.
We are living in the 2nd floor of a high rise building. Occasionally, there are gurgling noise
coming from the toilets... where does the air-bubbles come from? Lately, there is foamy
water (smell like wash detergent & soapy bubbles) forced up from the drain into the
toilet bowl (up to half of the toilet bowl, appearing to be waste water from a washing machine). Then it drains away itself. Also, when we flush the toilet, the draining action is delayed MANY seconds after the swirling water filling the bowl, which makes the sight ugly!
The management board needs a professional plumber to confirm the problem originating outside our apartment before agreeing to take action. Can this be done?
The problem is this does NOT happen all the times, just sometimes. Where is the clog?
Any help is appreciated, thank you in advance!
