I have a Panasonic Whisper Warm 110 CFM exhaust fan above my shower.
It works great BUT it recently started to drip when on while shower hot and outside cold. At first it dripped thru the unit, now its dripping at drywall where the exhaust pipe meets unit. The exhasit pipe is 4" duct and travels about 1-0 before it 90's up to roof another 1-6 and out. I understand rules of condensation just dont understand how to beat it.....
I wrapped pipe in insualtion but only about 1/2 thick.....
any insight or ideas ?

thanks much

Instructions say 2 to 3 ft stright run before any elbow's. Do you have a termination kit on the vent pipe?

Termination kit? I used high hat looking piece to stop rain etc from falling in
is that what you mean....

I guess I could rip the ceiling out and add a few feet with a few 90's etc and see if that takes care of it

Here's a couple pics from a installation manual. Notice the R-6 insulation. You might want to go with a dryer vent hood (termination kit) as seen in the pics instead of a regular flue cap.

Thank you. This info was definitely not included in the packaging
