I have a vent pipe for the drain that is going to the roof for our kitchen sink/dishwasher. My questions is about how it can be re located. What I am doing is removing about a 6 ft section of wall from the counter/top up to the ceiling. The only thing preventing me is vent pipe. What I am wandering if I can do is utilize the same hole going to the attic and then running it over 6 ft. making sure i have at least 1/4" per foot slope. Then running it down, Then running it over to the existing setup making sure i keep the same minimum slope.

i just measured and that is not a problem. the countertop has a bar style top about 10" above that runs parallel to the whole thing. So on the first horizontal run I have to come up 42" before making my horizontal run. then everything else would be fine.
