Delta shower faucet problems

I have a bathtub with a Delta faucet that started to leak from the hot water side. I replaced the stem, seat and spring and that fixed the problem. But after about two weeks the hot water side began leaking something fierce. I took it apart to see what the problem could be and noticed the seat was terribly misshapen. So I replaced the seat and spring. All was good for about 2 weeks, then it happened again. So, again I replaced the seat and spring. All seemed good again. But at about 2 more weeks, you guess it, the seat was deformed again.

Does anyone have any clue as to why this keeps happening? What is mangling the seats up?

Was your replacement an original Delta cartridge, or was it a Danco Cartridge?
