I have a Rheem 40 gal. gas water heater, built 2020, model 0052023196. My wife hears on occasions a creaking noise coming from the water heater. It seems to be coming from the tank. Is this something to be concerned about? It has an expansion tank (I think thats what its called) added to the water line if that means anything.
