When using a magnetic drive pump, if the impeller should become impeded by debris to the point that it doesn't turn, is stress put on the motor?
It seems that some stress would have to be put on the motor, since there is flux coupling of the magnetic fields. It also seems like there would be quite a bit less stress than if there were a mechanical coupling.
So, is this an issue as far as stressing a motor? thanks.
