Cleaning Fill Valve

Hi, first time trying to fix my toilet whose tank won't fill up. I believe I've isolated the problem to a clogged fill valve since water can't flow through it.

Question: How do I clean this? I also noticed some rubber bits that look like some sort of seal when I shine a torch down it. I tried poking my finger in but this has been unsuccessful. Would be so grateful for your help

Just replace it there not that expensive. At this point you have more time invested then it would have taken to replace it.

Thanks everyone! I should have come back sooner to thank you, but you know... procrastination. Anyway, I did as advised and now my toilet runs perfectly. Appreciate all your advice!
