Hello,
I was trying to replace my shower pan today and ran into a snag. I was able to break the pan off with a sledge but the drain seems stuck, with part of the pan still attached. See Attachment for image.
There is a 2" black PVC pipe in the middle but how can I remove the rest of this material and just leave what I need? Or how can I replace this setup without breaking out the floor?
Thanks for your help
Roger

PhishFood,
Thanks for your help. Turns out to be a 6in cast iron floor drain that has been filled with concrete and a 2in pipe in the middle. I jack-hammered the floor today.
