I am getting ready for a plumbing inspection in my new home. Part of the inspection requires that all of my vents and drains are filled with water
So I have to cap Everything off. The only thing that I am having a problem with is capping the vent on the tub. It has bigger than normal threads on it and it also has a paper/plastic seal over the front of the pipe. I'm not sure if the seal is strong enough to hold all of the pressure from the water or whether it will just pop off when I fill The pipes with water. Does anyone know if the seals are designed to hold that much pressure or if there's a better way to cap this off for my inspection. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
