Can you identify this unusual basin hose?

One of the hoses in the photos below is dripping. I must replace the host but my plumber doesn't recognise the thread. He suggests changing the taps entirely (there's a set of 2 taps) but I think it must be possible to buy a replacement hose.

I'd really appreciate any ideas/advice!

I would replace the braided hose with 1/4

copper. put it in the stripped out hole and solder the copper to the valve body

Those hoses are faucet parts. Go through faucet manufacturer for replacement parts or follow Frodo's advice.
