I have an insinkerator boiling water tap GN1100C that is leaking around the"arm" valve when used, and is starting to stick. It's a hard water area, and previous house owners didn't replace filters so no surprise.
However, I cannot find any info on how to get a replacement valve for this, only the whole (expensive) tap. The valve and lever seem to be in an assembly that has a hint of a hex at the top so I assume it probably unscrews, but it I cannot find a part that is pointless. Does anyone know where I can find drawings, a part number or anything better than a black box view of this tap?
Likely the valve needs replacement but depending on the internals I may attempt opening and cleaning it if I think it won't make it worse with babies in the house we need that boiling water!
