Hi All,

Very new to plumbing projects but was wondering if anyone here had any advice for constructing a small system to observe waterflow. Basically I am looking to be able to build a very small system with some pipes leading to check-valves into other pipes and literally want to see how the water will flow from each part of the system. I was hoping to be able to buy some small transparent (plastic?) pipes or something, which i could then attach valves to see how water flow actually is occurring throughout the system.

Would love any advice!

They do make clear PVC pipe. I used to pick up from a supplier that carried it years ago. Have not seen it lately tho. You can also add in some air so you can see what is going on or else you likely won't see much. I think what you are trying to do is neat but it might be an expensive hobby depending how far you go with it.
