My dad and I are working on putting a bar into his basement. The one pipe comes from the toilet, and the other comes from a bar sink and a vanity sink that are vented above. We were wondering if this setup is up to code and will leave us problem free. Thanks in advance for your help!

you have any st 22's? put the 90 down! step away from the 90!!!!

90 are bad! bad 90, bad bad...

put a st 22 in the wye, roll the wye and roll the 22 use another 22 o kinda level out...

the wye 2'' opening on the y can be on a 22 degree from horizontial it does not have to be on a 45

can i have a potato chip? never seen that brand

why the 3''--45 on the toilet?

they make a 4x3 closet 90. 047825-20121004234105-genova-pvc-dwv-90-degree-sanitary-elbow.jpg

that you can use..then the closet collar goes on the inside. and concrete on the outside. keeping the toilet from rocking/moving. just a thought.

In regards to the 3" we are starting with the 3" LS 1/4 bend at 45 degrees to the wall behind the toilet and using the 45 st el to get parallel with the wall. The sewage ejector inlet center line is 18 inches from the wall behind the toilet, toilet flange is 12" from the back wall so I will need to add a short 3" dia. piece between the 3" 90 and the 45 to get lined up with the pit inlet. I will also have to add a 3" dia. piece into the upper end to get to floor level.

I'm trying to get the 2" into a wall behind the toilet. I'm not sure I following your idea with the 22 els. roll the wye up 22 degrees from horizontal, then I'm not getting it.

Can I lay the wye flat and use a 45 street el to get the inlet pointing directly at the wall?

would replacing the evil 90 and 45 with a combination reducing wye rotated up 22.5 degrees and a 22.5 ell into it be the best? That would make the geometry right to run over to the wall behind the toilet. Is an evil 90 acceptable to make the turn from the sloped horizontal run into the vertical stand in the wall?

Thanks in advance for you advice.

yes, evil 90's should only be used to turn up or down

never horizontial to horizonital.

if you ever need to turn 90 degrees. use 2 45 degree fittings with a 12'' piece of pipe in between...

rolling the wye, and twist/rolling the 22. then use another 22 roll it to level LOL clear as mud huh?

no you cant lay it down flat. how much room debth wise, do you have

can you stack??? see drawing you need 18'' bottom ditch to top of concrete to do that

Ok, I pieced together the 22.5 into the wye and it doesn't seem like the geometry is quite right, what if I used the 3X3X2 combination reducing wye rolled up about 22.5 degrees from flat and a 45 like the attached pics or is that really the same as using an evil 90. Or what about the wye a 45 and a 22.5 like I have pictured. Thanks
