Go mainstream. Something that you can get parts for 10-20 yrs down the road.
Moen / Price Pfister / Delta

I installed a single handle Price Pfister in my shower about 20 yrs ago and have not yet needed to replace the core. That was pre pressure balance. The newer PB and Temp balance ones seem to fail a bit sooner than that.
