Hi all,
We recently bought a home. We'd like to build a bathroom, adding a bathtub. My biggest question is about adding the drain for the tub and eventually sink and toilet into our homes existing drain. I have access under the existing bathroom and where I want to put the new equipment.

Once I know where my tub will go and where the drain will go, how do I connect it to the existing system? I've attached pictures of both parts. The first picture is the existing bathroom. Second is almost a straight shot from where I want the new location to the old. Does the new drain need a p-trap under the tub? Does it need to be higher than where it'll connect to the existing (so it will flow down)?

Thanks for all the help!

It will be tricky, but may be possible.
Tubs require p-trap, everything needs to be higher to drain.
