Hello everyone,

I have two questions where you can help me merely with your experience as a base for statistical odds for the problem I'm facing:

* Have you seen sewer smell be caused by a broken sewer line under the foundation? If yes then what were the symptoms on the outside (e.g. permanent vs temporary smell etc)

* Have you seen sewer smell be caused by too short exhaust vents on a flat roof with additional wind barrier walls?

System was smoked and nothing unusual showed up, all vents were puffing; all toilet seals were replaced all fixture traps are certainly full.

Actually I have a 3rd question:

* Since smell appears to be related to the use of the grease trap system...can I somehow verify if the grease trap gets proper venting/exhaustor should I call a specialized plumber for that?

So far 2 different professional plumbers looked and found nothing, but neither spent time investigating the grease trap.

Thank you!
