I made this same post on reddit but as I've been researching the past few days I came across this forum and figured I would ask here!
My house has 1/2” OD soft copper tubing runs up to the kitchen faucet and a few other places (not standard 1/2 which is 5/8” OD). I need to figure out my best option for attaching a shut off valve. The goal is to go 1/2” OD pipe > adapter > valve with 3/8” OD compression outlet. Then I can attach the braided faucet lines directly to the valves.
I don’t know what kind of adapter would work. All I know is the “inlet” needs to be 1/2” OD compression and I need to be able to attach a shut off valve to the other end. I did find some valves online that are 3/8" Nom Comp (1/2” OD) which I know will fit but I’d like to be able to grab the adapter from HD or Lowes in store and I know they have the standard vales then.
Thank you!!
