    FWG Draining into FWG

What are the basins used for? In some food establishments it is required for the slop sink to have an indirect drain. This would be as you describe, but only into one floor sink. The pipe from the sink drain line would be to stop 1" above the lip of the floor sink. The purpose of this is to...

    False Ceiling Issue?

Naaagh... Dont do it. Drywall it in. Green Board is not for use on the ceiling. I recommend 5/8" type X drywall for this location. Paint it well with a quality paint. Some are available with mold and mildew inhibitor built into the paint.

    Hammered Stainless Steel Sinks

I personally would not buy stainless sinks for a bathroom. A quality cast iron porcelain sink will last a lifetime and you can get them in the color you like.

Just because you took away the tree doesn't necessarily mean you solved the problem. The roots can continue to grow under ground.

    Apprentice Torture Methodology

A sky-hook is always a good one, or a pipe stretcher. There is always the left-handed monkey wrench.

    Sweating copper.

The point is to remove the flux. I'd say any time before the wall is closed up ;)

    MAPP or Propane?

Mapp with the self igniter. I would never go back to the old nozzles after using one of these.

Bidets: Hygenic Alternative or Erotic Playtoy?

Agreed... It must be both. I would imagine you have to dry the water off of your ass after using one of these, so, do you still use paper, or just your bare hand? :D

Need advice on small plumbing work

Be sure you are looking down the "Private" column for your use. They give the bar sink a 0 DFU as they expect it wont be used much. I think you will be fine in tying in the bar sink to the 1.5" vent. Provided that pipe is no longer than 60', you are allowed 8 DFU. As stated in a previous...
