You turn the handle to turn it on I should add that the day before it stopped working the water pressure was very low. The water in the rest of the bathroom works fine. I pulled the cartridge part of the way out and water started to spray out so I know the water hasn't been turned off. Thanks

I have A single arm Moen shower. I don't know the model number. The problem is that the water will not turn on. I took the handle off and the stem is turning. I tried turning the stem with a pair of pliers and it does turn but the water just will not turn on. Will replacing the cartridge fix...
