Correct Thread Sealant For Gas Water HeaterAnode Rod?

Hi folks, I had a new gas water heater installed yesterday and I want to check the anode rod to make sure that I can remove it, before I absolutely have to. Can you folks recommend a good thread sealant that will allow me to easily remove the rod after a year in service? Thanks in advance.

The water in the basement...
