The highlighted elbow has a crack at the bottom where the collar connects. As the collar is tightened, the tapered end piece pulls away from the pipe and out comes the water.
There isn't any excess pipe to play with here, so I don't see a spot where I can cut and re-attach a new trap. On the opposite side of the wall is another sink, so in the wall there is a tee that both traps connect to. I'm not sure how to go about repairing this, and was looking for some suggestions.
