Ok, not sure if this is the right place, but I figured it doesn't hurt to ask. I have an alcohol flask that has a small leak in the seam. I am hoping to get it repaired. Any suggestions? You can see where it has been sealed with some sort of solder?, but I am not sure what it is exactly. Attaching a pic.

A jeweler may be able to help you.
That's one thing I thought of. I have contacted a few with no luck but maybe I need to keep trying. One issue I believe is that normally, a jeweler is not working with something that essentially involves food and drink. That's a reason I thought of a plumber. You guys are working with our water pipes all the time.

Perhaps an epoxy glue would do the job. Also might consider TIG or MIG welding... sheet metal fab.

Throw it away and buy another one. Or consider stop drinking as it can cloud one’s judgement.
