laundry sink

Hello friends, I am removing my laundry cabinet. I have removed it except the drainage pipe highlighted in red in the attached screenshot. Could you please suggest how to open it? The pipe goes into concrete slab. Any help will be highly appreciated. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks.

Help me add a utility sink to my laundry room and garage. These are pictures of what I have in my laundry room. Just behind this drain and water lines is my garage, which I would like to add a sink as well. Any suggestions as to how I should go about plumbing for this as a DIY?
