I pulled the aerator from the faucet and was told it's 3/4 fine thread. I need a male to male connector from 3/4 fine thread to 1/2 normal thread. I've tried two plumbing stores and Lowe's. Any ideas on where I could get this?

do you know the brand name of the valve ? the product line ?

that info would go a long way in figureing out the correct size.

I myself, needed a hose end on my kitchen faucet

i had to buy an end that fit the fauct and a hose end cut them in half and solder the togather

Thanks for the help frodo. I measured and it's exactly 1 inch. No idea the brand or line as it was here before I bought the house. It's a Roman tub and I'm guessing delta?

Would buying a new faucet that has a normal 1/2 inch be the best route or do you think I can find a converter. I'll check that link you posted.

Okay so I'm debating about getting

Faucet to Shower Hose Adapter Set
15/16" male x 55/64" female aerator threads
quick connect coupling with 1/2" male threads for hand shower

Or

1/2" FIPS x 55/64" Male-27 Thread
AND
SHORT Dual Threaded Snap Aerator for Dishwashers - Chrome
55/64" Female-27 Thread by 15/16" Male-27 Thread

Since I don't know if it's 55/64 or 15/16 (or either honestly)

Which would be the best route?

Thanks again really appreciate the help.

oroginal post. you said you needed a male thread

so you need a 55/64 male 27 thread X 1/2'' fip [female]
you will need a 1/2'' x 1'' brass nipple

then you will be male x male
