We have a stall type shower in our bathroom that is separate from the tub. When we turn the knob to turn on the shower, nothing happens. All other water sources in our bathroom work fine. ....FYI my husband just replaced the cartridge because we thought that would solve the problem.

This might be a silly question but you would be surprised how many times I've done a service call and the shower head was clogged.

Did you remove the shower head and try without?
 
the shower head, cartridge and handle are all brand new..
 
Thank you Mr_David.....there was something clogging the shower head....even though it was brand new!!!! Yay it's fixed!!
