I only gets easier the more you do it.
The challenges come when you have to solder in confined spaces and their are all kinds of things like electrical wires and flammable things to worry about.

my advice, get rid of the turbo torch and use a soft flame until you master the art of heat manipulation

then, AFTER you understand the heating process, and can apply that understanding. move on to a turbo



put that pipe in the vice on the vertical, lean to solder in that position, with out runs

thats when you start to understand heat
