I am under contract on a new home (new to me, house built in 2002) and we had the inspection yesterday. We discovered the ejector pump looks like its had a previous leak and the cover is corroded. Based on the photo, what kind of damage are we talking to make this right? Looking for a number to use for negotiation.

Does it seem that this is the only thing that needs to be replaced? Would any of the pipe below the gate valve need to be replaced as well? And will a licensed plumber be needed for any of this?

look on the lid for a name and number..if you find a name.

measure the lid, google the name, do a search.

as far as if you need to replace anything,,i dunno, cant see nothing but a lid.

is their a pump in the hole? you need one

call a plumber for a quote
