Hi

I have a single handle bathroom sink faucet that will not pull out to turn on.

The faucet hadn't been used for months because I had to replace the j-trap. That has been done but now there's something wrong with the handle.

I have no idea what brand it is but I know it's pretty old.

Here is a pic:

Any advice is very much appreciated!
Thanks
Colin

That is a Moen faucet. It needs a replacement cartridge #1200. Call Moen and they will send you one free of charge.

Hi johnjh2o

Thank for taking the time to respond. I really appreciate it.

I also posted this question on a DIY forum and a guy just responded, "Its a Moen. replace the cartridge. Its a 1225B. Get at the home store..

Is he wrong? Do you need more pics?

Thanks again
Colin

I called Moen and without any problems they're sending me a free 1225 cartridge. They said shipping was free unless I wanted it upgraded.

I don't mind waiting on it as the faucet hasn't worked for months any way.

Thanks so much for your help. I really do appreciate your time.
Colin
