this a photo looking upwards from the vanity under the sink.
see those three holes?
when the tap(faucet) is fully on it leaks from there.
we tried tightening those nut on the hold down brackets, but i doubt that is the problem.
it is a moen tap.
it is not dribbling from around the aerator
how do i fix this?
thanks all

Make sure the water isn't trickling down the lower side of the neck. If so, your aerator may need some fiddling. If not, I'd recommend you loosen it from the bottom to identify where exactly it is leaking from. Once you ID where it is leaking, give Moen a call and they may just send you an entire new faucet.

I'd take the handle off and check the nut holding the cartridge in. This Moen kitchen faucet cartridge would come loose and leak down below.

pop off that blue and red cap off and you will need an allen wrench. Could be the valve body is bad.

one should remember to put the stopper in so all those bits do not fall down the drain!

and the nut holding in the cartridge... is it that big gray bit?
thanks all

the problem is not solved yet
thanks

Could be the valve body is bad - does this mean a new tap?
thanks

Looks like it is missing a flat rubber gasket. But it could still be up inside the spout.
