So my brother decided to replace an old flapper. Well you know how that goes.
It appears that the overflow tube and the flapper circular ring are one piece. He broke the ears off the circular ring so you cant just swap a new ring onto it. We tried just getting a one piece rubber flapper and ring but it sits too high and gets stuck in the up position so you have to fix it by hand.
Whats the best way to fix this?
