White sludge in sump pit and pipe

Do you have a slop sink or anything like that dumping into your pit?
 
We do not. I believe it is just the drain tiles that feed into this pipe. I added a video to the post to give more details.
 
Is it stinky? Maybe take a sample to health dept? How long have you been there? Has it happened before?
 
Yes, it is just ground water. I can't tell it is some sort of calcium buildup. The core of the growth is hard but the outside of it is mush.
 
i have seen that before now that you have jogged my memory......in one of our dorms it was built up in the shower drains..it was a hard crust...….were you say it ground water
like sheplbr says get the water tested pool places will also test as well as towns but you need to see what you can add to break it down so it wont affect your drain or pump
