I need to replace an insert on the spigot on the side of my house and kind figure out what kind this is, or where I could get a new one. The house is about 40 years old, probably the original spigot. Came with a metal handle, full turn to get it going, definitely not a newer model. Links to the pics below, any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Mike

Appears to be a 10", frost-free spigot. Can't tell what size the pipe is since the pics are a bit dark, but most are 1/2'. I don't think it is an original spigot for the house, but is quite old.

Good Luck! Frost Free Hose Bibbs are commonly discontinued and redisigned. Just like your 1/2 gallon ice cream tunred into 1.75 qts, 10" is commonly 9.75" today and finding a replacement is quite difficult.

On the same token, you likely do not require a new stem. Likely all you require is a new washer. If its not the washer then it's the seat. And, if it's the seat, you're in need of a new unit anyways.

So if you need a guide to help you install a new frost-free hose bibb.........I'll try to oblige.
